Who this training is for:

This 2 hour workshop is designed for schools and early educations settings and will assist participants to understand how to recognise and respond to concerns that a child has been harmed.

What to expect:

This two-hour workshop can be delivered in person at your organisation, or online

All participants must be aged 18+

No prior knowledge required

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

  • Understand recent changes to the legislation and how they apply to your role.

  • Understand the types of harm and abuse children can experience and the possible signs

  • Develop an understanding of strategies to respond to disclosures and concerns a child may be at risk

  • Understand your reporting and documenting obligations

Why do it?

Recent statistics report that 1 in 32 Australian children had contact with Child Protection in 2019-2020 yet many educators and teachers struggle to recognise harm or feel confident supporting children who have experienced trauma.

Growing Future’s training is easy to understand, practical, and can be tailored to your organisation’s needs.

"Helen is a wonderful trainer, with a vast knowledge that speaks in ways that make it easy to learn."
